Hand peeled waney edge cladding

Our waney edge cladding is a cut above the rest. Firstly, our Douglas Fir or Scottish Larch timbers are cut to size in our sawmill. We then prepare the logs for peeling. We cut each and every waney edge by hand using traditional methods, ensuring that no bark or sapwood is left on the cladding.

By hand-cutting the waney edge from the heartwood of the timber, we can ensure a high-quality product. This will age naturally, keeping your building wind and weathertight.
